Hello fabulous people! Happy New Year & welcome back!
Today is the first Friday of the new year and I wanted to share a FLASHBACK FRIDAY with you all! These are just a few of my favorite winter outfits from college. I graduated almost two years ago and I thought I was EVERYTHING! Come down memory lane with me and watch the transformation! Enjoy!
This outfit was worn on the first day of my last semester. Can you feel the senioritis? I called it senior chic! Lets get into the details. This mustard v-neck sweater was purchased at H&M. The skirt is a black, faux leather, skater the was purchased at Plato’s Closet. I added some thick, black tights(Tuesday Morning) and matching boots(Step-In Shoes) because it was cold. The belt(Know Style) was added for a little glam. I usually wear the scarf(Burlington) as a head wrap because the bold print is beautiful, but it was a last minute add-on to cover my chest. And finally, my favorite part of this outfit, this black beanie! It adds just a touch of edge to all this glam and also covers head! Cute & functional!
This second outfit shocked me as I put it together. I love it so much! This dark olive green jumper(Wal-Mart) was and will always be a staple of mine. Unfortunately, it was way too cold to wear by itself, so for some reason I decided to put a dark wash denim shirt(H&M) on under it. Whatever the reason, i’m glad I did! Absolutely gorg! And the ‘brown girl friendly’ booties are perfect without doing too much. Of course, there has to be gold somewhere, my door knocker studs get the job done. This knitted ivory headband was added to protect my cold ears.
This ensemble screams edge to the fullest! The star of this outfit is my black, sequin t-shirt that says ‘BIG HAIR BIG DREAMS’ I bought it two weeks after my big chop lol I wore black denim skinnies, added black boots, popped on my trusty gold earrings, a black beanie, and a lovely blue infinity scarf from Creative Crochet. On my way out of the door I grabbed my leather jacket(Wilson’s leather) and went on my merry way!
Finally, this leopard print shift dress(shein) is one of my favorites! Its so easy, you just put it on and go! Well, obviously, it was too short and thin to wear during the winter, so I had to mix it up. I added black tights, camel colored boots(step-in shoes) and a burgundy cardigan(f21). I accessorized with pearls in my ears and on my wrist.
Thanks so much for joining me again!
Love & Peace,
